Danny McGuire is an independent musician living in London with past lives in Amsterdam, Toronto, Brisbane and Glasgow. Following support from KCRW and BBC Radio for his 2021 release ‘A Scottish Meditation on Feeling Better’, 2026 saw Danny return with ‘Won’t let nobody hurt you’ and 'Friends 'Til the End', the first releases from a new collection of songs marking a definitive launch of his solo work.
Recorded at his home studio, the songs were produced in collaboration with, and mixed and mastered by, Brett Shaw (Foals, Florence & the Machine) at 123 Studios in Peckham. Danny’s music carries a hopeful, determined spirit within a sonic world of guitars and dreamy, warm analog sounds.
